My name is Mobeen ur Rahman and I am working on heritage, culture and tourism in Pakistan. I am the Youngest Co-ordinator of Pakistan's largest Travelers Club, Cross Route Biker and Travelers club (who has traveled abroad on bikes and jeeps from Pakistan and is going to celebrate World Tourism Day in France this year by road). Together with the club I celebrated World Tourism Day, World Mountain Day and World Heritage Day in major cities of Pakistan including, Karachi, Ziarat Balochistan, Banjosa Azad kashmir, Peshawar KPK, Lahore etc. In 2019 I also had a weekly survival workshop in the Rakaposhi Basecamp with the Discovery Channel and National Graphics Channel Workers Ched kel and Reza respectively. With Collaboration of Punjab Tourism Department Arrange Heritage Photowalks in 4 cities of Punjab
Holding the vast list of Forts which includes up to 240 in numbers with their map location. Explore many Historical Religious sites of Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Christians. Explored around 100 sites in Gujrat of different religions and eras. Inaugurated Gujrat Heritage Gallery in Gujrat Museum which showcase the culture and traditions of Gujrat. Further working in Wazirabad and planning to open gallery over there.
Inauguration of World Museum Day and World Heritage Day in Gujrat for a very first time. Worked with British High Commission and excavated many Artifacts and displayed them in Gujrat Museum. Starting a project with SK foundation UK and UK high commission to make an obelisk of second Sikh anglo war battle field. Arranged 2 tours of DG walled cities of Punjab authorities in Gujrat to highlight the importance of Gujrat fort and walled city (Soon Gujrat is going to be declared the walled city).
Quaid e Azam visted Gujrat in 1944 and Mobeen Ur Rehman highlighted his place and made a stage and statue of Mohammad Ali Jinnah there. Arranged 2 Art exhibitions with collaboration of press club. Arranged family camping gala and bike rase in Pabbi forest park with collaboration of Forest department and divisional govt in 2019. Making projects of Culture and Tourism for Pakistan Union Norway (PUN) from past three years. 2023- Religious Tourism in Pakistan. 2022- Forts of Pakistan 2021- Explore Pakistan
Working on an exhibition under the title of “Incredible Pakistan” for Pakistan Union Norway and Pakistan Embassy Norway, this exhibition will show the unique sites of Pakistan, i-e salt mine, deepest sea port, highest ground etc, this year.
